Case study

Removing the styling decision from an apparel purchase

Seafolds sells ready-matched jeans and T-shirt combos for men, women and kids. The proposition is genuinely useful — someone else has already decided what goes together — but only if the store communicates it in seconds.

The challenge

A combo store has a communication problem before it has a conversion problem. If the shopper reads it as two separate products, the whole advantage disappears.

Our approach

We rebuilt the product page around the complete look: one hero image of the outfit worn together, one price, one clear saving versus buying separately, and both garments’ sizes selected in a single step.

Sizing was addressed directly — real measurements, fit notes and a size recommendation — because in apparel every avoided return is margin recovered.

Family segments were separated cleanly so a parent shopping for kids is not scrolling past menswear.

What we built

Complete-look PDP

One outfit image, one price, one visible saving — the combo reads instantly.

Two-garment size flow

Both sizes chosen in a single step instead of two confusing selectors.

Fit & measurement help

Real measurements, fit notes and a recommendation to cut returns.

Family segmentation

Clear men, women and kids paths so shoppers stay in context.

Combo cross-sells

Additional combos suggested by style rather than at random.

Mobile-first speed

Optimised apparel imagery for fast mobile browsing.

The outcome

Conversion improved about 36% once the combo was presented as one product rather than two.

Average order value rose roughly 29%, and size-related returns fell about 34% after the sizing content went in — the change that most directly protects margin.

“The moment the page showed one outfit at one price instead of two items, people understood what we sell.”
