Shopify store redesign

Redesign your Shopify store without losing what already works

A modern, faster, higher-converting store — rebuilt on your existing Shopify account so your products, orders, customers, reviews and search rankings stay exactly where they are.

2–4 weeks typical redesign Zero data loss SEO rankings preserved 2 free revision rounds

A Shopify store redesign rebuilds the look, structure and buying flow of an existing store — while keeping the same Shopify account, so products, orders, customers, reviews and URLs are untouched.

We redesign on a duplicate theme and only publish once you approve, which means no downtime and nothing to lose if you change your mind.

Signs your store needs a redesign

You do not need a redesign just because the store is a few years old. You need one when it is actively costing you money.

How we redesign without breaking your store

This is the part most merchants worry about, so here is exactly how it works.

We duplicate your live theme and build the new design on the copy. Your live store keeps selling the whole time. Nothing we do touches products, orders, customers, reviews, apps or payments — those live in your Shopify account, not in the theme.

When the new theme is finished and you have approved it, we publish. If anything unexpected appears, your old theme is still there and we can switch back in seconds.

What actually changes in a redesign

Homepage

A clear promise above the fold, real social proof, and a path into your best-selling collections.

Product pages

Better image handling, scannable benefits, trust badges near Add to Cart, reviews and cross-sells.

Collections

Filters that make sense for your catalogue, so shoppers find the right product in fewer clicks.

Cart & upsells

Sticky add-to-cart, free-shipping progress, bundles and cross-sells to raise order value.

Speed

Unused apps and scripts removed, images optimised, code cleaned — measurable load-time improvement.

Editability

Every section built for the theme editor so your team can run campaigns without a developer.

Protecting your search rankings

A redesign is only a risk to SEO if URLs or content structure change carelessly. We keep the same URLs, preserve your heading structure, keep product and collection descriptions intact, and carry over meta titles and descriptions.

Where a URL genuinely has to change, we set up a 301 redirect so the ranking and any backlinks follow to the new page. Faster load and better mobile usability usually help rankings rather than hurt them.

How a redesign runs

Store review

We audit your current store — speed, mobile experience, product pages and drop-off points — and agree priorities.

Design approval

You approve the new key page designs before any development starts.

Build on a duplicate

We build on a copy of your theme. Your live store keeps selling throughout.

Publish & monitor

We publish, run checks across devices, and stay available while you settle in. Old theme kept as a fallback.

Two free revision rounds are included, valid for 21 days after delivery, plus a 30-minute training call.

Frequently asked questions

Will a redesign affect my products, orders or customers?

No. Products, orders, customers, reviews and apps live in your Shopify account, not in the theme. We build the new design on a duplicate theme, so none of that data is touched at any point.

Will my store go offline during the redesign?

No. Your current store keeps selling while we build on a duplicate theme. The switch happens in one step when you approve, and the old theme stays available as an instant fallback.

Will I lose my Google rankings?

No, when it is done properly. We keep your URLs, headings, product descriptions and meta tags, and add 301 redirects if any URL must change. Faster load and better mobile usability usually improve rankings.

How long does a Shopify redesign take?

Most redesigns take two to four weeks. Larger catalogues or heavily custom functionality can take four to six weeks. You get a fixed timeline in writing before we begin.

Do I need a full redesign or just fixes?

Often just fixes. If your store’s structure is sound and only the product page or speed is weak, targeted work costs far less. Send us your URL and we will tell you honestly which one you need.

Can you keep our existing theme and just improve it?

Yes. If you own a good premium theme, heavily customising it is a valid and cheaper route. We only recommend a custom rebuild when the theme itself is the limitation.

Will I be able to edit the new store myself?

Yes. Every section is built to be editable in the Shopify theme editor — text, images, banners and product blocks — with no code needed. A 30-minute training call is included.

What if I want changes after the redesign goes live?

Two free revision rounds are included, valid for 21 days after delivery. After that we can quote the work separately or set up ongoing monthly support.
